Shropshire Living Pool and garden

The enquiry was originally for a pool in the client’s paddock. A chance remark at the end of the visit led to us designing the Living Pool and surrounding garden area in a courtyard opposite the house. The courtyard was laid to grass and surrounded by brick stables, guest annexe and gym/entertaining room. The pool was designed to have an area for children to play, with a lap pool coming off the centre for swimming lengths. The pool is heated and covered with a Rolldeck solar cover. The garden was designed to give interest from all angles, with raised planting areas to add height with steel retaining edges. The planting follows a green and white scheme. Lighting was installed to allow the clients to enjoy the garden and pool at night.
