Garden for big and small, but very fine

The client’s wishes were a bench in the pool, a child-friendly staircase and, in addition, a sauna house with an outdoor seating area. The size of the pool was set at 8 x 3.50 metres, with a depth of 1.45 metres. The biggest challenge was that the pool cover had to be one hundred percent childproof. So a special construction was developed under the pool edge stone. If a child were to fall or step on the roller blind, it would no longer sink the three centimetres because it would immediately rest on the top of the wall. In order to disguise this in a visually appealing way, custom-made ceramic tiles were installed as angled pool edge stones.
